Welcome to Soule's
Miniature Dachshunds!!! We are located in Southern
Illinois and we raise AKC miniature dachshunds in long
and smooth coats. Our crew consists of reds,
black/tans, and English Creams. We breed for all
colors in solids and dapples. We breed
for temperament and conformation in healthy happy
puppies. Our pups are raised in the house until
they go to their new homes.
We have 4 children who are
quickly growing up. Each one has their unique role
they add to our program. Whether it is helping
play with puppies to socialize, sleeping in bed with
them, or cleaning up after them. It has taught a
lot of responsibility along the way.
Our love for dachshunds
started shortly after my husband and I married and the
kids were all wanting a family pet. It was love at
first sight. I fell in love with a 9 week old red
smooth puppy who we named Slinky Rose Marie Soule.
She was born on my mother in laws birthday and we bought
her the day my mother-in-law died of lung
cancer - we named her Marie in her memory.
We periodically have
